If you are looking to rent any type of wildlife, we have some wonderful trained animals for hire. We can offer trained skunks, raccoons, opossums, foxes, groundhogs, deer and much more. Below are a few photos of some of our more popular animal actors-but if you do not see what you are looking for, please do not hesitate to ask as so many have not yet made it onto our website.
Did you know that groundhogs (AKA woodchucks) are related to squirrels-and that they actually do NOT chuck wood? We have a team of fantastic trained groundhogs though, that can be trained to do many other cool scripted actions-
Did you know that squirrels’ teeth never stop growing and that they can find food buried under a foot of snow? If you are looking to hire a trained squirrel-we have have a scurry of them!
Did you know that opossums are the only marsupial native to North America? They are also very intelligent and have the equivalent of opposable thumbs!
Skunks have the wonderful combination of being very intelligent and also loving to eat, which makes them fantastic animal actors to work with. Fun fact: Did you know that a skunk’s spray has a range of up to 10 feet, and its odor can be detected up to 1.5 miles? BUT-don’t let that deter you from hiring one of our trained skunks-they are descented-so shooting blanks
Fun raccoon fact- our 30th POTUS had a pet raccoon named Rebecca living in the White house for part of his presidency! Another cool fact-we have a team of fantastic trained raccoons for hire. These clever creatures are very intelligent and love to learn and play.
Foxes are very playful and inquisitive- they are more cat like than dog like including being nocturnal-and like a cat-their pupils are vertical. We have several trained foxes for rent, so depending on the scripted action, we would suggest which one of our foxes would be best to hire for your production. We occasionally accept bookings for private events for our foxes, as well!
Prairie Dogs dig complex underground tunnels that also serve as shelter for many other animals in their environment! They live in tight-knit family units, called coteries, and the females usually stay together their whole lives. We have our own coterie available for hire for your next project.
Whether you are looking to rent a trained wild looking hare or cute bunnies, we have many colors of hares and rabbits for hire that are easy to handle and can be trained to perform typical scripted actions like running A-B, going to marks, hopping and being handled by talent.
If you are looking to rent a trained chipmunk, we have several of them for hire! Our chipmunks have been hired and trained to go to marks, run through obstacle courses, and even wear clothing!
If you are looking to rent a trained coyote for your project-we have wonderful coyotes to hire. Several were bottle fed and hand raised by Benay herself, and are very imprinted and well trained. These coyotes have been trained and hired to work in movies, TV shows, commercials, music video and print.
We have highly trained rats that can go up or down stairs, go to marks, climb walls, do cute tricks-or just be rats! From 1 rat to 200 or more: we can do it!
